Technical Assessing Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s oldest and most respected loss adjusting firms; is pleased to announce a number of key appointments that further strengthens the firm’s offering.
With the recent move by Technical Assessing’s Founder, Steve Nance, to assume the Chairman’s role, and the appointment of David Cambridge as Managing Director; Technical Assessing is pleased to announce Brendan Sears as the new State Manager for NSW. Brendan will continue as Practice Leader – Marine, and brings a wealth of adjusting experience, management and enthusiasm to this leadership role. Brendan responded to the appointment by stating; “I am excited about the expanded leadership opportunity and to continue Steve Nance’s great work as well as the high standards he has set. Being surrounded by an excellent and capable team, I look forward to enjoying their support, ensuring the strong performance endures of the NSW office.”
Peter Brown, while remaining as State Manager for QLD, has also been appointed Practice Leader – Liability. Peter’s first role as practice leader is to host TA’s 2018 in-house Liability Conference in Sydney in early February. “Given the significance of our specialist Liability division, it’s important to bring the National Liability team together to collaborate on industry issues and hear from our clients about ‘what a Claims Officer looks for from a service provider’. This is a vital step in further improving the unparalleled service Technical Assessing provides our clients,” said Peter Brown.
In other appointments, Paul Hacche is the new Practice Leader – Plant and Equipment and will remain based in Melbourne. Managing director, David Cambridge, commented; “given the increasing number of complex machinery and equipment claims our clients engage us on, it is timely to appoint an accomplished and well-respected Loss Adjuster to oversee this area. Paul is arguably one of Australia’s premier Loss Adjusting crane experts, and brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to the role.”
“Following our solid performance in 2017, these appointments provide the foundation for further growth in 2018 and reflect Technical Assessing’s continued focus on strengthening its technical expertise in each specialisation so as to provide the most accurate and rigorous advice to our clients.”
