Technical Assessing bolsters its Property Offering with appointment of Steve Mann.

Technical Assessing Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s oldest and most respected loss adjusting firms; is pleased to announce that Steve Mann will join Technical Assessing, based in the Victorian Office, on 5 March 2018 as Practice Leader – Property.

Steve commenced his career in the UK and has spent 24 years in Australia.  He is a Chartered Loss Adjuster in both the UK and Australia as well as being a Chartered Insurance Professional.

Managing Director, David Cambridge commented “Steve brings almost 40 years’ experience to Technical Assessing, specialising as an Executive Loss Adjuster in major property, business interruption, casualty, and construction losses.  His appointment further strengthens our property loss adjusting offering to our clients and as Practice Leader – Property he will be instrumental in providing additional technical capabilities to the Property team, particularly in handling and the mentoring of large and complex  losses.  We are very pleased to have someone of Steve’s calibre join TA.”

Steve’s experience covers a range of matters including; major smelter losses ; wind turbine failures; rail collisions and off-track incidents in QLD and VIC; Silo collapses at major grain storage facilities; transformer failures at power generating plants; major losses in the hospitality, retail, manufacturing and commercial industries; in construction risks including commercial building and infrastructure projects; major ‘Heritage’ losses of State Government Assets; general manufacturing for the automotive, printing, food processing and furniture industries and with major earthquake, tsunami, flood and cyclone damage claims, both locally and internationally.

In terms of Policy experience, Steve has also undertaken work under UK, US and Australian/New Zealand global and local ISR and reinsurance programmes; Contract works insurances covering material damage, business interruption and liability; Federal and State Government schemes; and business packages.
