David joined the insurance industry in September 2000 and worked his way up to become a loss adjuster.
Before his involvement in the insurance industry David worked in the building industry for over 20 years. David adapted his experience with building materials to the maritime environment to assist with marine claims.
David’s technical knowledge with machinery assists him in the specific handling of plant, equipment and engineering claims.
I love working for Technical Assessing because of the flexibility and support to do the job properly the first time and the collaborative environment within each office and the wider company.
My favourite leisure activities are: Sailing, being outdoors, painting and drawing.
My favourite places to visit are: Do you mean before or after getting a cat? I love Chuuk Lagoon, Lifou, New Zealand, and camping on North Stradbroke and Moreton Islands.
In 2017, David became Technical Assessing’s Managing Director and in mid-2020, he led the Management Buyout (MBO) with the key management team. Since the MBO, David has overseen TA’s expansion and delivered a revamped rebrand which included a new positioning statement of Talent Chooses UsTM to better reflect the belief that our people choose to work at TA.
