Initially, Steve worked in the insurance industry handling general cargo related operations around Australia. Later, he worked as a marine manager, surveyor and commercial loss adjuster.
During the past 15 years Steve has worked for all the major insurers and many of the smaller insurers in Australia, as well as international claims management suppliers and underwriters.
Steve also has over 20 years’ building industry experience. The experience he gained with repair scoping, materials and validation has led to involvement with many large claims and validation of quotes.
My favourite leisure activities are: I have an addiction to international travel and am still looking for new adventures, so I continue to work to pay for these passions.
I love motor racing and ticked off a bucket list in the F1 Ferrari Club at the Melbourne Grand Prix twice.
I have a Sunday car that is only driven on weekends and not in the rain and also own a 1978 Honda CBX100/6 motorcycle.
I attend music concerts – usually rock bands. I’ve seen over 170 international bands ranging from Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to more current artists like Jack White or the Black Keys.
