Since joining the insurance industry, Steven has worked on extensive projects including managing the scope of rectification and construction costs for claims raised as part of the Canberra hail event.
Steve worked in the building industry for over 10 years before switching to insurance, which gave him in-depth knowledge of construction processes and BCA compliance. This helps him produce expert witness reports, which include determinations in causation, methods of repair and costs.

My favourite leisure activities are: Fly fishing, 4x4 driving and camping.

In 2017, David became Technical Assessing’s Managing Director and in mid-2020, he led the Management Buyout (MBO) with the key management team. Since the MBO, David has overseen TA’s expansion and delivered a revamped rebrand which included a new positioning statement of Talent Chooses UsTM to better reflect the belief that our people choose to work at TA.
