After starting as a trainee in the insurance industry in 2001, David chose to become a loss adjuster and worked for an international insurer as internal loss adjuster.
David has travelled across Australia in his role assessing large and complex natural disasters like fires and floods.
I love working for Technical Assessing because of the supportive management. Everyone’s goals are aligned. Processes are streamlined without the red tape and numerous managers and silos that other companies have. We can focus on our clients and not get bogged down with other tasks.
My favourite leisure activities are: Playing at the beach or park with my wife and son, country road trips to see family, or socialising with friends. Camping and fishing are good for the soul too!
My favourite places to visit are: I went to Queenstown, New Zealand a few years ago and it was just stunning. The town, the scenery, the people and the activities – all amazing. Cannot wait to go back. Aside from that, my favourite place to visit is Denmark, Western Australia, where I grew up. I still have family there and visit every chance I get.
