Chris worked in the legal department for an insurance company before starting his loss adjusting career in 2009. Over the years, he's gained experience across a range of insurance product lines, including property, construction, engineering, and all classes of liability and fidelity guarantee.
One of Chris's career highlights has been leading a team of adjusters that assessed commercial claims after the 2011 earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand.
In a previous role, Chris served as Asia-Pacific cyber practice leader, where he was responsible for claim management, staff training and compliance, and stakeholder management across several jurisdictions. He managed a variety of cyber claims, including business email compromises, social engineering and ransomware matters for companies in the finance, medical, construction and retail industries.
I love working for Technical Assessing because the company offers an opportunity to gain experience in various product lines, and provides a positive culture and supportive environment.
My favourite leisure activities are: Spending time with my better half and our dog, Stella, watching sport (rugby union, Formula One and Moto GP) and riding my motorcycle through the mountains.
My favourite place to visit is: I've visited quite a few wonderful places, from major cities to natural wonders, but none get me as excited as the Kruger National Park. What I like best is the beautiful scenery and wildlife, telling stories around the campfire ... and the lack of phone reception!
